Kim came to Cathedral Square in 1999 after a 7-year career as multifamily management coordinator at the Vermont Housing Finance Agency. Starting as a property manager, she moved on to become director of management, chief of operations and finance, and then CEO in 2015. She is a governor-appointee to the VT Dept. of Disabilities, Aging & Independent Living (DAIL) Advisory Board and is on the Age Strong VT Advisory Committee. She has served on the Community of Vermont Elders (COVE) board, the COVE policy committee, the Champlain Housing Trust's development and property management advisory committee, and the ANEW Place board. Kim is certified as a Professional in Human Resources and as an assisted housing manager, a tax credit manager, and a rural development manager. She is a 2018 graduate of the Vermont Leadership Institute and the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Vermont Housing Managers Association. In 2023, Kim was a finalist for Nexstar’s Remarkable Woman Award. She holds a B.S. in education from the University of Vermont.
