Annual Cutting and Splitting of fresh firewood using machinery (and a little exercise). Burlington Rotarians, and their friends working in teams to process logs to useable size for use in homes of needy who use this as primary source of heat. With machinery, a good number of cords of firewood can be piled up for delivery as the cold weather approaches! (Usually 9-10 club members and friends, in groups of three, with "rovers" to help fill gaps during breaks, etc...) |
