"SERVICE ABOVE SELF"
Hey Rotarians and friends! Here are the directions below to our Rotary Service Project for October 23:
"Wood For Good" up in Jericho.
The work time range is 9AM to 12 Noon. THIS SATURDAY, the 23rd.
(If you are in central Burlington, the drive to site is about 25-30 minutes,
so leave early, and then no need to rush.)
Directions to the woodlot -- print now:
It's at #150 (approx.) Cilley Hill Rd. Jericho
SO:
Take VT RT. 15 east to the "Red Mill" in Jericho
Continue 0.8 Miles on 15 and turn left at Cilley Hill Rd
Continue 0.4 miles, across a one way bridge and bear right at the next fork,
then go about 0.5 mile down the road.
When pasture turns back to forest - see the woodlot area on the right.
(You may see a way-point marker, as well.)
Our host and project manager is Exec. Director Eric Axelrod
Thanks to all Rotarians who can take time to come up for some of the cutting, chopping and stacking,
--Keeping needy families who exclusively use wood heat, warm this winter!!!
Please forward these directions to any friends or family you invited, who may be coming up to the event separately.
Looks like a cool, sunny, day - about 50 degrees, with low or no sweat.
REMEMBER Bring your garden/leather gloves, layered worn clothing,
and work boots, (or firm hiking shoes) which are recommended
avoiding any smooshed toes, or a possible twisted ankle!
At Noon when done, --- we macho men, and sturdy women may grab a beer or sandwich
at a nearby local joint.....
Seeing many of you there;
Ed

A Journey Toward a More Affordable Solution for Estate Planning
Dec. 14, 2021
Our Program: December 14, 2021:
We Welcome: Byron Batres
Byron Batres is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) who became an executor in 2012 with 19 years of financial and estate planning experience. After hearing how much a probate attorney would charge for the process, Byron drew on his years of experience as a CFP® and completed the probate process without an attorney. After his experience he founded EZ-Probate, with a mission to empower customers by reducing their expenses and protecting their financial assets. He has built and educated a team of experts ready to guide other families through the probate and estate planning process quickly with only as much support as they need to keep costs in check. He maintains one of the office spaces at the "HULA" Center, right here in Burlington! |
