12-16 June EXACT Times - TBD Breakout sessions : are an opportunity to explore the topics that interest you. Polish your leadership skills and get inspired with new ideas for projects, fundraising, strengthening membership, and more. Here are some topics you’ll find:
Saturday, 12 June Join us as we reflect on this past year, highlight our members’ work, and acknowledge the many changes we have experienced. Be inspired by engaging speakers – including Rotary leadership, leaders in various fields, Rotarians, Rotaractors, and others – and connect with their stories. Celebrate Rotary around the world and the people who make our conventions memorable, and witness how we have found new ways to come together. Experience high-energy performances to kick off our convention and get excited for the rest of the week! Sunday, 13 June We grow by learning a new skill, hearing different perspectives, and challenging ourselves to step outside of our comfort zone. Witness a conversation about women’s historic role in Rotary and celebrate the nomination of Rotary’s first female president. Recognize service projects from around the world and learn about the impact on communities. Hear about Rotary’s newest area of focus, the environment, and get informed on tangible ways to support sustainability efforts. Listen to keynote speakers share ways that we can all continue to make a difference – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Wednesday, 16 June Focus on how service projects change lives. Watch presentations from keynote speakers as they share how we can challenge assumptions to deepen our impact. Hear from Rotary leadership as they discuss innovation, change, and ways to get involved. Aug. 24, 2021
The glaobal pandemic of 2020 has led many of us to turn inward, lamenting what we've lost and uncertain of what's to come. Rather than dwell on the negative, the architects at Freeman French Freeman instead chose to dream about a positive future where Vermont communities thrive. Working in teams, FFF created five visions for the future on sites, familiar to many Vermonters. FFF hopes you enjoy the creative ideas presented and that these projects spark conversations in the Burlington community of what could be.
