·American Red Cross Blood Services The American Red Cross consistently meets the blood needs of all hospitals in Vermont. Blood donated through the American Red Cross can also be sent to patients being treated at medical centers throughout the entire New England area and, in times of disaster, can be made available anywhere in the country. Blood donated through the American Red Cross is "Blood Without Borders". It is the ultimate way to think globally and act locally.
