The planned redevelopment of downtown Winooski will result in a massive construction project to include a hotel, restaurants, retail stores, a cinema, a fitness center, 250,000 square feet of office space, 400 housing units, a parking garage, and a walkway along the Winooski River.

Bill Niquette, Winooski Community Development Director, told the club about the status of this ambitious project, and of the detailed financial package that will need to be in place in order for the project to move forward.
