The Honorable Peter Clavelle, Mayor of Burlington

This month, Mayor Clavelle made history as he was sworn in for an unprecedented seventh term as Mayor of the city of Burlington. This will be the first three-year term for the Mayor as a result of recent charter changes in Burlington.

Peter Clavelle is a graduate of Rice High School, St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. and Syracuse University. He has been a strong and articulate voice for sustainable development for cities across the nation, incorporating visions and policies for economic development, environmental protection, education and equity. He works with groups and organizations from across the spectrum in the city, encouraging full public participation in all discussions affecting the future.

Democrat or Republican, Progressive or Conservative, we all agree that Mayor Clavelle has shown a true, honest dedication and commitment to our community.
