Champlain College President Roger Perry
Applied Learning and Computers, Four-Year Programs, and Globalization and E-Commerce make up the foundation of Champlain’s focus on careers and jobs.
Champlain College is unique in effectively translating real-life business skills to its students by incorporating the three phases of this plan.
Roger explained that Champlain’s "practice connections” and internships, growing into a four-year college with 26 degree programs, and the college’s international experience all contribute to Champlain College graduating highly trained workers as well as being an economic asset to Burlington and the area.
Some other facts about Champlain College:
• 93% of students are enrolled in four-year programs.
• More than half of continuing education students attend classes on-line.
• There are five overseas campuses serving 1,500 students: Israel (Tel Aviv), U.A.E. (Dubai). India (Delhi & Bombay) and Hungary (Budapest).
• The college has International Exchange Programs with England, Sweden, France, Switzerland and Australia.
• Champlain has a 97% job placement rate.
